Dearest readers,
It is with the utmost delight that I recount the recent nuptials of Miss Megan and Mr. John, held in the idyllic setting of Lake Lure, North Carolina. This occasion, much anticipated by society, did not fail to live up to its lofty expectations. Indeed, it was a day replete with beauty, emotion, and no small amount of elegance.
This past Saturday, I had the privilege of photographing Michaela and Nick’s wedding on Michaela’s parents’ beautiful property in Lineville, Alabama. It was one of those days that truly embodies the essence of a fall wedding—crisp air, the warm colors of autumn, and a deep sense of love and community surrounding the couple. Despite the aftermath of the Hurricane Helen that impacted neighboring states, the weather in Lineville gave us a perfect fall day.
When I first met Jorga (prounounced “Georgia”, like the state), her lighthearted laugh and contagious energy immediately filled the room. We first met at Starbucks when she reached out to me about photographing her elopement in July. I could see she was excited and her eyes sparkled with anticipation. I was thrilled for her and so happy for her, and of course, honored that she chose me to document such a joyous season of life.
