The Girl Behind the Lens
I am a true Southern girl, born and raised in Texas and now living in Sweet Home Alabama. I am married to the love of my life and my best friend, Derek. I am a stay at home mom to two littles, Rowan + Raelynn. They are precious gifts and fill our lives with so much joy!
When I'm not behind the camera documenting memories for you, I am busy making our house a home and perfecting my cooking and baking skills. I love to laugh and have fun, and my favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family. My faith in God is the foundation of my life and I want to use the gifts that He has given me to serve others!

My favorite flowers are peonies! I love them! They are so pretty and make me so happy.
I love jazz music! I lived in New Orleans for about 3 years and fell in love with jazz!
As already mentioned, I love coffee and might be a little addicted. I like it hot or iced, not too sweet, with oat milk.
I love Italian food and any form of pasta!
Christmas is by far my favorite holiday! I love alllll the Christmas things - the music, the lights, the movies, snow, all of it.
I LOVE to travel and though it sounds crazy, I love airports. I always get excited because it means I am going somewhere new and exciting!
My favorite season is fall. I love the crispness in the air, bonfires, sweaters, s'mores, fall candles, and all the changing leaves and colors!
Out of all the things and people I love, I love Jesus most of all. He is my Rock and Anchor, my Best Friend. He has healed my heart when it was hurt and broken, and my relationship with Him is intimate and personal.

Meet My Little
Since you already know a little about me, let me introduce my husband, Derek. He's the one who helps me do all the un-fun things of running a business. He works hard for our family and encourages me to pursue my dreams and passions as well. I'm such a lucky woman!
This little boy made me a mom and I am so thankful God gave him to us! He has the best smile, he's full of energy (as all little boys are!), loves to wrestle with his daddy, is obsessed with monster trucks, is a little bossy but also very protective of his little sister, and is very outgoing and friendly!

This girl is the sweetest and sassiest
little girl! She loves to cuddle and gives the best hugs. She adores her big brother, but she is standing up to him when she wants to. She loves her "babies" (stuffed animals) and can be a little shy around new people, but once she warms up to you, you have a new friend!

I was not one of those people who always knew that I wanted to be a photographer. I remember I always liked taking photos with my disposable camera, but the thought never entered my mind about becoming a photographer until many years later.
I loved taking photos of places and God's creation, and I still do, but what I am most passionate about is documenting and telling people's story through photographs.
Because behind every photo is a story, an emotion, and a memory.
I want to ensure that I provide an intentional and enjoyable experience for you and to document the season of life you are in now, whether that's one of joy, chaos, or a beautiful blend of both.
The other side aspect of photography that I am most passionate about is connecting with people. I want to be more than just a photographer you hire. I want to be a friend and confidante, someone you keep in touch with through the years and with whom you share life's ups and downs. Someone with whom you can be real and genuine.
