I have two children, a boy and a girl, and I've been married to my husband for 8 years. We've lived in 3 different states since getting married, and are now settled in Sweet Home Alabama. When I’m not behind the lens, you can find me with a coffee in hand, probably listening to a true crime podcast or getting lost in a good book—because every mom needs a little escape now and then! I’m also a huge fan of outdoor adventures, whether it’s hiking through the woods or exploring new places. I also love to travel and see new places and meet new people.
But above all, my greatest joy comes from the Lord and spending time with my family. They are the most precious gift and one I waited a long time for; they are my why and a huge part of why I do what I do. I believe that God has blessed me with them in ways I never want to take for granted.

As a little girl, I used to flip through old family photo albums, listening to my parents and grandparents share the stories behind those pictures. The way they’d smile and reminisce always felt so special, like they were stepping back into that exact moment. Now, as a mom myself, I treasure those same rituals. When I look at photos of my children, I’m transported back to their newborn days—the soft skin, the sweet baby scent, the overwhelming love I felt in those fleeting moments.
That’s exactly what I want to give you: a way to freeze time, even if just for a moment. I’m passionate about capturing the laughter, the quiet cuddles, the tiny hands that won’t stay small forever, and the love that holds it all together.

Meet my Family
Derek is the one who holds our family together; he's our leader and provider, and he loves us well. He's such a hard worker and sacrifices his time to serve not just us, but other people. He's my biggest supporter and encourager, and I am so thankful for him.
We met at seminary in New Orleans, and I quickly learned how good of a heart he has. He's not perfect, but he truly is the man of my dreams and a man after God's heart! {Y'all he often does the laundry, dishes, and cleaning without me saying anything! I've got a keeper for sure!}
He's actually 7 years younger than me, something he likes to tease me about. But it works and I'm so glad that I waited for him. If you'd like to learn more about our love story, I wrote all about it here.

Husband, father, & Biggest Supporter
Rowan is our first born, the one who made me a mama! If you were to ask him what he wanted to be when he grows up, he would shout, "MONSTER TRUCK DRIVER!" He's only a little obsessed with them.
Rowan is full of energy, as all little boys are. He's outgoing and never meets a stranger. He's just like me in many ways {poor fella!}, and he has the BEST smile. He loves to entertain and is always making us laugh. He brings so much joy to our family!
He loves school, playing with his sister, playing catch and dodgeball, and UNO {though he is quite competitive - something he gets from his mom.}

Raelynn is our sweet, beautiful little girl. She can be a little sassy sometimes, and she can be shy around new people. But she warms up pretty quickly.
If you ask her name, she will proudly tell you that it's "Rae Rae Elise". Rae Rae is our nickname for her, so I guess she thinks that is her actual name. She is our cuddly one and loves to snuggle up and watch a movie or read a book with us.
Rae Rae loves school too, playing with her "babies" (stuffed animals), playing monster trucks with her best friend, Rowan, and also playing UNO {she wants everyone else to win though.}
