My seasonal mini sessions are the perfect solution for families who want a quick yet meaningful way to capture cherished memories. Designed with busy families in mind, these short sessions offer the opportunity to update your family photos, commemorate special moments, or even create beautiful images for Christmas cards and family heirlooms.

Whether you're celebrating a milestone or simply want to freeze this season of life, my mini sessions provide a relaxed, joyful experience that results in timeless photos you'll treasure for years to come.

The Mini Session Process

I send out my mini session schedule to my email subscribers list before I announce and release to the public. Once you have selected which mini session you want, you then choose the time slot that you would like based on the available options.

To book your preferred spot, you will need to pay the retainer fee and sign the contract. The remaining balance is due the day before the session. I will also send a questionnaire that will help me get to know you and your family a little better and help streamline your session. You'll also receive a Portrait Preparation guide full of outfit ideas and tips for success.

On the day of your session, I recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to ensure that you are ready to go when it's time. I typically have back to back time spots so if you are late, that will eat into the allotted time for your session.

After your session, you will receive a sneak peak within 48 hours, and then the final gallery within 2-3 weeks. From there, you will be able to view all your images and choose your images that come with the base package. You will also have the option to upgrade to more images and purchase high-quality prints and custom products to showcase your images in your home.

In the event of bad weather, a date will be chosen and the mini sessions rescheduled for a different date. If you are unable to make the new rescheduled date and you notify me within 24 hours, you will receive credit for a future session.

Mini sessions are non-refundable unless I am able to fill the spot left vacant. Please make sure that you are available for the time that you book. If you absolutely cannot make the slot you booked and you give a 24 hour notice, you will receive credit towards a future session.

04. what is your cancellation policy?

Please plan to arrive to 5-10 minutes early for your mini session. Each slot is booked back to back so there is no wiggle room. If you are running late, I unfortunately won't be able to give extra time since it will push back each session following.

Choose colors and outfits that complement each other. Different patterns are okay, but be careful not to choose ones that will clash. Each client will receive a style guide which will explain in more detail how to choose your outfits for your photos!

As long as the location allows animals, then absolutely! Double check with me in advance just to be sure, but as long as it's okay, then by all means, bring along the furry members of the family!

Turnaround time to receive your edited photos is usually 1-2 weeks. However, during high peak busy season, that will be more like 2-3 weeks.

Mini sessions are seasonal and full sessions can be booked any time of the year.
