It is with the utmost delight that I recount the recent nuptials of Miss Megan and Mr. John, held in the idyllic setting of Lake Lure, North Carolina. This occasion, much anticipated by society, did not fail to live up to its lofty expectations. Indeed, it was a day replete with beauty, emotion, and no small amount of elegance.

Celebrating a child’s first birthday is a momentous occasion, filled with joy, excitement, and of course, a little bit of cake! This spring, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Brantley’s first birthday with a cake smash session at the Northside High School football field in Northport, Alabama. 

Happy Saturday! The weekend is here and Spring is in full bloom! (My allergies are proof of that!) I’m living on Claritin over here right now. That and LOTS of coffee!
