As a wedding and portrait photographer, I spend a lot of time behind the lens capturing everyone’s special moments. But when it’s my turn to be in front of the camera or just feel my best on the job, I have a few go-to beauty products that I can’t live without. I know how important it is to make sure that your hair and makeup are on point all day long, especially on your wedding day or for a portrait session! So, whether you’re a bride or a busy on-the-go mom, here are my top beauty products for flawless skin and hair! 

 

1. Seint Makeup

Seint Makeup is my absolute favorite for achieving that flawless, natural look. This cream-based makeup is perfect for giving my skin a radiant glow without feeling heavy. It’s so easy to blend, making it ideal for quick touch-ups between shoots. Plus, the customizable palettes mean I always have the exact shades I need right at my fingertips. Whether I’m going for a full glam look or something more understated, Seint never lets me down. Also, having the magnetic case to carry each makeup tin, eyeshadow tin, and lip/cheek colors is perfect for when I have to do my makeup on the go! I literally can get my whole face done in 5 minutes! 

I did recently try the viral makeup by Il Makiage and I have to say, I am impressed with their foundation as well. It’s a little more on the pricey end, but still blends beautifully so I would definitely recommend them as well. 

 

 

2. Flutterhabit Lashes

If there’s one thing that instantly elevates my look, it’s Flutterhabit lashes. These lashes are not only stunning, but they are also super comfortable to wear. They’re designed to mimic the natural lash line, giving my eyes that extra pop without looking overdone. And the best part? They last for days (I usually get mine to last anywhere from 7-10 days!), so I can keep that glamorous look going strong throughout a busy weekend of shoots….or a busy week of MOMing (yes, I made it a verb! ha!). 

I literally don’t buy mascara really anymore because I am always wearing these! I love getting up in the morning and feeling a little put together already, even if I don’t have any make up on. 

 

These are by far my favorite lashes! I love the cat eye look, and they still look very natural!

3. Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

Long days on my feet mean I need my makeup to stay put from sunrise to sunset. Urban Decay’s All Nighter Setting Spray is a game-changer. A few spritzes of this magic potion, and my makeup is locked in place all day and night. It’s lightweight, breathable, and keeps my skin looking fresh even after hours in the Alabama heat. No more worrying about touch-ups—this spray has got me covered.

4. Facial Care – Dime and CeraVe

Taking care of my skin is a top priority, and Dime and CeraVe are my skincare superheroes. Dime’s clean, high-quality ingredients give my skin the nourishment it needs without any harsh chemicals. I love their serums for that extra boost of hydration and glow.

CeraVe, on the other hand, is my go-to for everyday care. Their gentle cleansers and moisturizers keep my skin balanced and happy.  Lately, I’ve been using the Hydrating Cream to Foam Cleanser and I love it! Together, they make the perfect team for a clear, healthy complexion.

 

5. Living Proof Dry Shampoo

Let’s be real—sometimes there’s just no time for a full hair wash. Enter Living Proof Dry Shampoo. This miracle product keeps my hair looking fresh and voluminous between washes. It actually cleans my hair by absorbing oil and sweat, leaving it soft and manageable. Plus, it smells amazing, which is always a bonus! Perfect for those busy mornings when I need to get out the door quickly! 

Pro tip: I recently learned that you should actually spray dry shampoo on your hair and roots before you know you might be sweating!
