This Christmas, my family and I embarked on a journey to Nicaragua to celebrate the Christmas season with my family. Nestled in the heart of Central America, Nicaragua held the promise of family reunions, cultural exploration, and a bit of adventure.

Engagement session are probably one of my favorite sessions to do because I get to spend a good amount of time just capturing the love between the couple. (Side note: Bride and groom photos on wedding days are my fave photos to take, hands down. Like, I could do it all day long!) Of course, Rachel and Brody’s engagement session was no different.

This sweet family means so much to our family, and I am so glad that I was able to capture some precious moments and memories of them before they headed back to their home in Mozambique, Africa!

You’ve spent hours looking at photos online of wedding dresses, and perhaps even spent hours trying them on. Okay, maybe that’s a little bit of an exaggeration, but regardless, you’ve spent a good amount of time finding the perfect dress for your wedding day. And once you find it, music swells, eyes fill with tears, and someone pops the bubbly! (Anyone ever watch “Say Yes to the Dress”??)
