If there’s anything I’ve learned in four years of being her mama, it’s that my little girl was born to shine. ✨ She is fearless, full of life, and leaves a little bit of sparkle everywhere she goes. So what better way to celebrate her turning four than with a glitter birthday photoshoot?

From the moment I mentioned the idea, her eyes lit up with pure excitement. Glitter, twirls, a fancy dress—every little detail was made for her. As a photographer, I spend my days capturing special moments in other people’s lives, but this time, I got to bottle up a little bit of our own.

The Setup: A Dream in Sparkles

I wanted the session to feel as whimsical and joyful as she is. We chose soft pastels and gold tones to complement her sweet, playful personality. She wore the most perfect twirly dress (thank you Shein!), fit for a birthday princess, and when the first handful of glitter hit the air, it was pure delight.

She danced, she laughed, she threw glitter like it was her job (and let’s be real, she took that job very seriously). And in those tiny, golden flecks floating around her, I saw so much more than just a fun birthday shoot. I saw her wonder, her joy, her carefree spirit, and the fleeting beauty of childhood.
